POS administrator: set up the menu, prices and access yourself

The person who makes the system match the venue: menu, prices, modifiers, discounts, tables, and who can reach what.

What an administrator sees

A day as the administrator

1

Shape the menu

Categories, items, variants and modifiers — and a price change that reaches every device at once.

2

Set up the offers

Discount cards, coupons, and the conditions that decide where each one applies.

3

Arrange the room

Tables on an interactive floor plan, time slots, and the reservations that fill them.

4

Hand out access

Who is on the team, what their role reaches, and which devices they may use.

What an administrator gets

A catalog with categories, subcategories, variants and modifier groups
Prices and availability that update on every device in real time
Allergens, measurement units and item photos in one editor
Discount cards and coupons scoped per category or per item
An interactive floor plan with table statuses and reservations
A QR menu generated from the same catalog, in several languages

What an administrator can and cannot do

This role is built for setting the venue up, not for its money. It reaches everything that decides how the place works, and stops short of the figures and the access an owner keeps.

Can

Create and edit every part of the catalog, including prices
Run discount cards, coupons and loyalty conditions
Manage the floor plan, the tables and the reservations
See the sales and item reports for the venue
Take and edit orders on the register like any other operator
View the staff list and the shift schedule

Cannot

Change the organization's own settings, its currency or its tax rates
Create roles, or change what other people are allowed to reach
Approve a new device — that stays with the owner

Roles are yours to define: these are the defaults a new organization starts with, and every line above is a permission you can grant or revoke.

What it changes for the business

No waiting for support

A new dish, a changed price or a seasonal modifier is a two-minute edit by someone already in the building.

One menu, everywhere

The till, the QR menu and the kitchen screen read the same catalog, so they cannot disagree about what is available.

Offers you can measure

A discount card carries its own conditions and shows up in the reports, so you can tell whether it paid for itself.

Questions administrators ask

Can I change a price during service?

Yes. Save it and the new price is on every open device within seconds; orders already taken keep the price they were rung up at.

How do variants and modifiers differ?

A variant is a version of the dish with its own price — a 32 cm pizza. A modifier is something added to it — extra cheese. A modifier group can be required, so the operator has to choose before the item reaches the check.

Does the QR menu need separate work?

No. It is generated from the same catalog, so an item hidden on the till is hidden there too. You choose the languages and what the guest sees.

Can I mark an item unavailable without deleting it?

Yes. Availability is a toggle; the item keeps its recipe, photo and history, and comes back the moment you switch it on.
